The Illusion Flip
The Illusion Flip is the same motion as a frontside flip and is technically the same trick. It is the execution that makes it super different. This trick is always done on transition, usually 5 ft or higher. In a normal frontside flip the skater uses their front foot to flick the board. In an illusion flip the skater basically does a pressure frontside flip. This gives the “illusion” that they are just doing a normal frontside ollie but their board magically flips.
